Technical Documentation Writer

Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Documentation Writer with strong English communication skills and the ability to create clear, user-friendly software documentation. The role involves translating technical concepts and product requirements into structured content.
You will work with product and engineering teams, using AI tools (e.g., Claude) and Jira EPICs to generate and refine documentation in Markdown. Experience in creating marketing content like white papers, brochures, and demo scripts is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, structure, and maintain clear, user-friendly technical documentation, including user guides, help content, and release notes.
- Translate Jira EPICs, product requirements, and technical inputs into well-organized documentation using Markdown and documentation tools.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to generate draft content and refine it for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and SMEs to gather information and validate documentation.
- Review, edit, and improve content to ensure high-quality standards in language, structure, and usability.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting across all documentation.
- Contribute to documentation planning and support content delivery across product releases.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing, editing, or product documentation.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, structured content.
- Experience or comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for documentation workflows.
- Proficiency in Markdown and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence or similar).
- Ability to work with Jira EPICs, user stories, and technical inputs.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and content quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with AI-driven documentation workflows and refining AI-generated content.
- Familiarity with prompt writing for tools like Claude or ChatGPT.
- Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of software development processes, APIs, or SaaS products.
- Experience creating knowledge base articles, release notes, and help center content.
- Ability to create marketing-oriented technical content such as white papers, brochures, and demo scripts.
- Basic understanding of UX writing and information architecture.
